With 14 days remaining until Election Day, the DNC has compiled resources for the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community to help our AAPI votes be the difference in many of these critical and contested elections.
Voter Protection Toolkit
In Georgia, there are reports of voter suppression, which has disproportionately affected voters of color. In the AAPI community, our brothers, sisters, parents, and grandparents often face barriers to voting and appreciate the opportunity to cast their ballots in-language. The DNC has assembled a Voter Protection Toolkit for our community so our community understand our voting rights and the correct precaution to protect our community.

Highlights from the States: DNC Chair Tom Perez Travels Nationwide to Campaign for Democratic Candidates
Over the past week, DNC Chair Tom Perez visited Nevada, New Mexico, and Texas to campaign for Democratic candidates up and down the ticket. His trip included canvass kickoffs, phone banks, and a Winning with Women roundtable sponsored by two DNC initiatives – Seat at the Table and Mujeres Mobilized. The events emphasized early voting, which is now open in dozens of states across America. Perez and Vice Chair Grace Meng campaigned in the Asian American/Pacific Islander community to highlight the importance of voting for Democrats up and down the ticket because Democrats are the candidates who will protect quality and affordable health care and create good paying jobs.
Nevada:
Asian Journal: On Sunday, October 14, Democratic National Committee (DNC) chair Tom Perez and vice chair Rep. Grace Meng were in Las Vegas to visit the AAPI community and campaign for candidates in some of the most competitive races in the country.
“The AAPI vote can really make a difference in the state,” Perez told the Asian Journal.
“Anyone with an immigrant experience, such as the AAPI community, who observes the divisive politics of Donald Trump, Dean Heller and Adam Laxalt, understands that we need to elect leaders who unite people. We need to build bridges of opportunity, not walls of fear. That is why I see so much energy.”
