AAAFund Endorses Ben Jealous for Maryland Governor

Washington, DC — Asian American Action Fund (AAAFund) announces its endorsement and support for Ben Jealous for Maryland Governor. Ben served as former National President & CEO of the NAACP.

“I’m proud to receive this endorsement from the Asian American Action Fund,” said Jealous. “Making sure that everyone has a seat at the table is the first step to building a diverse, inclusive economy, making sure everyone has a quality education, and expanding affordable healthcare. I look forward to working closely with the AAPI community as governor to ensure that everyone has a seat at the table.”

“We are proud to endorse Ben Jealous for Governor of Maryland. Ben is a civil rights leader, educator, and investor in small businesses and we know he will be an advocate for the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community” said Bel Leong-Hong, AAAFund Board Co-Chair. “Ben has already engaged with Maryland’s AAPI community and will continue to host meet and greets to discuss issues concerning our community including education, health care, and the economy. We know that Ben will work tirelessly for Maryland and will continue to look out for the AAPI community’s best interests.”
