Asian American Action Fund Announces First Wave of Endorsements!

Washington, D.C. –  The Asian American Action Fund (AAAFund), which works to elect Asian American and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) candidates and progressive candidates, announces the endorsement of 6 progressive leaders. Representatives Andy Kim (NJ-03), TJ Cox (CA-21), Katie Porter (CA-45) and candidates for Congress Gina Ortiz Jones (TX-23) and Sri Kulkarni (TX-22) comprise the first wave of endorsements for AAAFund.

“Asian American Action Fund is excited to provide early support to this dedicated group of public servants that have prioritized progressive values and working with the AAPI community,” said AAAFund Endorsements Co-Chair Irene Bueno. “Their leadership is critical for our country right now and we are committed to supporting progressive candidates that will build a more diverse, inclusive, and representative Congress. We’re confident that they will work with the interest of the Asian American community at heart.”

The Asian American Action Fund is a political action committee that seeks to increase the Asian American and Pacific Islander community’s voice in politics at every level of government across the United States. Since our founding in 2000, we have endorsed more than 200 candidates from every AAPI ethnic community, in every region of the country, and at every level of government.

Together, we are building a national network of AAA-Fund chapters, leaders, and activists that are increasing the AAPI community’s voice. Contact us at
