AAA Fund’s mission is to ensure equal political, educational, social, and economic opportunity for all persons and to eliminate race-based discrimination. A critical focus of this mission is to support the economic realities within the AAPI communities.
AAA Fund supports initiatives to end employment discrimination based upon race, gender, religion, or nation of origin. Individuals within the AAPI communities experience very uneven economic success and employment opportunities. Many AAPI still experience employment decimation based upon race, gender, religion, and nation of origin.
In order to help everyone have an equal opportunity to achieve economic success and security AAA Fund also supports efforts to provide financial education and assistance with career advancement. Millions of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck; AAPI communities often occupy similarly vulnerable circumstances. Moreover, some AAPI communities like Cambodian-Americans and Hmong-Americans, and Chinese-Americans in certain locales, suffer from disproportionately high poverty rates.
