AAAFund Georgia Chapter

AAAFund Georgia Chapter

Founded in the matter of hours, AAAFund-Georgia exploded onto the state’s political scene to channel the sky-high energy behind Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff’s U.S. Senate campaigns in 2020. The chapter went on to establish themselves as a key AAPI outreach partner to Georgia progressives and solidified the AAPI community’s vote as the margin of difference.

Since their successful 2020 cycle, the chapter supports AAPI civic engagement, advocates for AAPI representation and issues at the state level, and gears up for competitive statewide elections every cycle. In response to the Atlanta-area mass shooting of Asian women, AAAFund-Georgia grew into its leadership role in the AAPI community, speaking out at Stop Asian Hate rallies, attending solidarity events, and participating in advocacy and community actions to push for gun law reform.

AAPIs make up 4.1% of all of Georgia’s population and two-thirds of the AAPI population are citizens, eligible to vote. AAPIs are the margin of victory vote and the Georgia Chapter will continue to build AAPI political power in Georgia and elect progressive leaders that will serve the AAPI community.
