The Washington State Chapter of AAAFund was founded by Dr. Jeffrey Roh in 2020 to define the progressive identity for the AAPI population in Seattle. A prolific fundraiser, Dr. Roh and his team raise money for AAPI candidates and develop relationships with rising AAPI political stars in effort to increase the community’s political power.
Since its founding, AAAFund-Washington quickly grew to become a trusted partner to Seattle-area AAPI politicians including Marilyn Strickland, State Senator Manka Dhingra, and Port of Seattle Commissioner Sam Cho.
