Andy Kim is New Jersey’s first Asian-American Congressman, reflecting the changing demographics and ideals of the state. Since being elected, Rep. Kim has secured more than $40 million in funding for U.S. Navy weapons system that brought additional jobs to New Jersey. Kim also called on the House Committee on Ways & Means to take up legislation to remove the cap on state and local tax deductions to restore fairness to New Jersey taxpayers and secured $500 million in funding to develop opioid addiction treatment programs.
