Asian American Action Fund Expresses Support for Senator Hirono and the Island of Maui Amid Wildfire Devastation

WASHINGTON, DC – The Asian American Action Fund (AAAFund) is thrilled to announce its endorsement of U.S. Senator Mazie Hirono for re-election. This decision recognizes Senator Hirono’s tireless and ongoing work on behalf of the AAPI community.

“Senator Hirono has been a staunch advocate for AAPIs in her time in the U.S. Senate. Her relentless pursuit of justice and equity cements her status as leading voice in national politics. The AAAFund applauds her unwavering dedication to her constituency in Hawaii and the broader AAPI community across the nation,” said Albert Shen, National Chair for the AAAFund.

In addition, the AAAFund would like to extend a call for contributions to the wildfire recovery efforts in Maui, HI. The AAAFund urges everyone who is resourced and able to support the local community through this difficult time.
