It is with a deep heart that we mourn the loss of U.S. Representative Elijah Cummings. He led with unparalleled moral integrity and courage during the most challenging times in our history. We will always remember him for his great humanity and as a fierce advocate for equality. He has blazed a trail and touched so many lives. We will strive daily to continue his legacy. On behalf of the Asian American Action Fund’s board, we extend our sincerest sympathies to Maya, his children, and friends.
