Asian American Action Fund Statement On Nomination of Julie Su for Labor Secretary

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WASHINGTON, DC — Today, the Biden-Harris administration announced their intent to nominate Deputy Labor Secretary Julie Su for Labor Secretary. In response, Ally Mark, executive director of the Asian American Action Fund (AAAFund) released the following statement.

“Julie Su is a champion for workers and we are thrilled that President Biden and Vice President Harris have chosen to nominate her for Labor Secretary. Even further, we are proud to see the Biden-Harris Administration follow through on their promise to ensure the AAPI community has a seat at the table. Julie Su is eminently qualified for this position, and we urge the Senate to act on a swift confirmation.”
