Asian American Action Fund Endorses California State Senator Dave Min for California’s 47th Congressional District

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the Board of the Asian American Action Fund (AAAFund) endorsed State Senator Dave Min for California’s 47th Congressional District. Vacated by fellow AAAFund-endorsee Representative Katie Porter, the 47th District includes one of the largest Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities in the country.

“State Senator Dave Min is a tireless champion for Orange County working families. In the State Senate, he has been an outspoken advocate on gun violence prevention, economic equity, women’s reproductive rights, and climate action. The Asian American Action Fund is confident that Orange County’s AAPI community members will have a strong representative in Dave. We are thrilled to extend our support to his candidacy,” said Ally Mark, AAAFund Executive Director.

“The Asian American Action Fund is proud to endorse Dave Min for California’s 47th Congressional District. Dave has dedicated his entire career towards protecting California’s homeowners and consumers by taking on big banks and holding Wall Street accountable. In the legislature, he has been an outspoken advocate for the Asian American community. We are proud to stand with Dave, and we look forward to continuing to stand with him as he delivers real results for Orange County families as their next representative in Congress,” said Albert Shen, AAAFund National Co-Chair.
